Reconstruction Services was formed in 2000 to complement the work of Richard Avelar & Associates (RA&A) — an architectural and construction consulting firm that provides expertise relating to construction defect analysis and litigation. While we are affiliated with AVELAR, we are a separately owned, licensed and insured company.

We combine our principals’ design and construction experience with specific expertise in construction litigation and reconstruction. Working with AVELAR during the litigation phase, we can transfer that specific knowledge to the building repair phase for a more efficient project delivery.

As a Design-Build contractor — versus the traditional Design-Bid-Build process — we offer a single point of responsibility and reduced design and administration expenses. Our team-based, Design-Build approach is a well-established system embraced by the American Institute of Architects.
